Please read these terms and conditions carefully before registering for or attending LEBIC 2026. By registering or attending, you agree to be bound by these terms.

By completing registration or attending LEBIC 2026, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your registration for and attendance at the Lifestyle Expo Business & Investors Conference 2026 ("LEBIC 2026" or "Event") organized by LEBIC.org ("we," "us," or "organizer").

By registering for or attending LEBIC 2026, you agree to:

  • Comply with all terms, conditions, and policies outlined in this document
  • Follow all venue rules and regulations at Pearson Convention Center
  • Respect the rights of other attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and organizers
  • Accept that these terms constitute a legally binding agreement

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not register for or attend the Event.

2. Event Registration

2.1 Registration Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • One registration per person (non-transferable without permission)
  • Valid government-issued ID may be required for check-in

2.2 Pass Types & Access

Standard Exhibition $4,500 CAD 10×10 ft booth, 2 passes, basic setup, logo on materials, lead scanning
Executive Exhibition $5,500 CAD 13×10 ft booth, 3 passes, premium setup, AI matchmaking, social media promotion
Premium Exhibition $6,500 CAD 20×10 ft booth, 4 passes, VIP location, 15-min speaking slot, premium marketing
Sponsorship Package $8,500 CAD 30×10 ft booth, 5 passes, main stage branding, 30-min speaking slot, full sponsorship

2.3 Registration Confirmation

Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket. You must present this e-ticket (printed or digital) for event entry.

⚠️ Important Registration Rules

Registrations are non-transferable without prior written approval from LEBIC organizers. Unauthorized resale of tickets is strictly prohibited and may result in cancellation without refund.

3. Payment & Pricing

3.1 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Stripe
  • Bank transfers (for exhibitor packages)

3.2 Pricing & Fees

  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  • Prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
  • Early bird discounts end March 31, 2026 (30% off)
  • Group discounts available for 5+ registrations
  • Payment processing fees may apply

3.3 Payment Confirmation

Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment. Unpaid registrations may be cancelled without notice.

💰 Early Bird Savings

Register before March 31, 2026, and save 30% on all pass types. Prices increase after this date.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Attendee

4.2 Transfer Policy

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another person:

  • Request must be submitted in writing to info@lebic.org
  • $25 CAD administrative fee applies
  • Transfers must be completed at least 14 days before the event
  • Transferee must agree to all Terms & Conditions

4.3 Refund Processing

  • Refunds processed within 14 business days of approval
  • Refunded to original payment method
  • Bank processing times may vary (5-10 business days)
⚠️ No-Show Policy

No refunds will be issued for no-shows or failure to attend scheduled sessions. Please cancel in advance if you cannot attend.

5. Attendee Conduct

All attendees must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

5.1 Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind
  • Disruptive behavior during sessions or presentations
  • Unauthorized recording or photography
  • Distribution of promotional materials without permission
  • Solicitation outside designated areas
  • Intoxication or substance abuse
  • Theft, vandalism, or damage to property
  • Sharing of credentials or badges

5.2 Consequences

Violation of conduct rules may result in:

  • Warning from event staff
  • Immediate removal from the event without refund
  • Ban from future LEBIC events
  • Legal action if applicable

5.3 Professional Standards

Attendees are expected to:

  • Dress in business casual or business professional attire
  • Respect networking boundaries and personal space
  • Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
  • Silence mobile devices during presentations
  • Follow venue safety and security protocols
🚫 Zero Tolerance Policy

LEBIC maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or threatening behavior. Violations will result in immediate removal and potential legal action.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 LEBIC Content

All content, materials, and presentations at LEBIC 2026 are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws:

  • Speaker presentations and session materials
  • LEBIC branding, logos, and marketing materials
  • Event website content and design
  • Recorded videos and audio content

6.2 Usage Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Record, copy, or distribute presentations without permission
  • Use LEBIC branding for unauthorized purposes
  • Reproduce or sell event materials
  • Create derivative works from event content

6.3 Exhibitor & Speaker Rights

Exhibitors and speakers retain rights to their own materials and intellectual property. Respect their copyrights and trademarks.

7. Photography & Recording

7.1 Event Photography

Professional photographers will capture images and videos during LEBIC 2026 for:

  • Event documentation and archives
  • Marketing and promotional materials
  • Website and social media content
  • Press releases and media coverage

7.2 Your Consent

By attending LEBIC 2026, you grant LEBIC the right to:

  • Photograph and record you during the event
  • Use your image in promotional materials
  • Publish photos/videos on website and social media
  • No compensation will be provided for such usage

7.3 Attendee Recording Policy

Personal recording is restricted:

  • No video recording of sessions without permission
  • Personal photos allowed in designated areas
  • Flash photography prohibited during presentations
  • Respect others' privacy and consent
📸 Opt-Out Available

If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify event staff and wear the "No Photos" badge provided at registration.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

8.1 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LEBIC and its organizers, sponsors, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness, or death
  • Loss or damage to personal property
  • Financial losses or business interruption
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by speakers or exhibitors

8.2 Assumption of Risk

By attending LEBIC 2026, you acknowledge and accept:

  • Inherent risks of attending large public gatherings
  • Risk of exposure to illness (including but not limited to COVID-19)
  • Risk of personal injury from any cause
  • Responsibility for your own safety and belongings

8.3 Insurance

We strongly recommend attendees obtain:

  • Travel insurance for trip cancellation
  • Health insurance for medical emergencies
  • Personal property insurance
⚠️ Attend at Your Own Risk

LEBIC organizers are not responsible for any losses, damages, or injuries sustained during the event. Attendees participate at their own risk.

9. Event Changes & Cancellation

9.1 Right to Modify

LEBIC reserves the right to:

  • Change event dates, times, or location
  • Modify the event program and speaker lineup
  • Replace speakers or cancel sessions
  • Alter venue layout or exhibitor placement

9.2 Event Cancellation

If LEBIC 2026 is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure):

  • Full refund of registration fees
  • Or credit towards future LEBIC event
  • No refund for travel or accommodation costs
  • Notification via email within 48 hours

9.3 Force Majeure

Force majeure includes but is not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, extreme weather
  • Pandemics, public health emergencies
  • Acts of terrorism, civil unrest
  • Government restrictions or venue closure
  • Technical failures, power outages

10. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal data is collected, processed, and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10.1 Data Collection

We collect and use your data for:

  • Event registration and attendance management
  • AI matchmaking and networking
  • Communication and updates
  • Security and safety purposes

10.2 Sharing Information

Your information may be shared with:

  • Event sponsors and exhibitors (with consent)
  • Service providers (payment processors, etc.)
  • Other attendees through AI matchmaking

11. Exhibitor Terms

Additional terms apply to exhibitors who book exhibition space:

11.1 Booth Requirements

  • Setup: August 21, 4-8 PM & August 22, 7-9 AM
  • Teardown: August 22, starting at 6 PM
  • Booth must remain staffed during event hours
  • Comply with all safety regulations

11.2 Prohibited Items

  • Hazardous materials
  • Live animals (except service animals)
  • Loud equipment or excessive noise
  • Items violating fire safety codes

11.3 Cancellation by Exhibitor

Exhibitor cancellations follow the same refund policy as attendee registrations (Section 4).

12. Speaker Terms

12.1 Speaker Obligations

  • Deliver presentation as scheduled
  • Provide presentation materials in advance
  • No sales pitches during sessions
  • Respect time limits

12.2 Content Rights

Speakers grant LEBIC permission to record, edit, and distribute their presentations for promotional and educational purposes.

12.3 Compensation

  • Speakers receive complimentary event registration
  • No travel or accommodation expenses covered
  • No speaker fees unless separately agreed

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

13.1 Jurisdiction

  • Disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of Ontario courts
  • Venue: Brampton, Ontario, Canada
  • Applicable law: Ontario and Canadian federal law

13.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute:

  • First attempt informal resolution through direct communication
  • Mediation preferred before litigation
  • Arbitration may be required for certain disputes

13.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
